Welcome to "Nature of Cyprus photography"

I am pleased to welcome you on my website and to give you an insight into the flora and fauna of Cyprus with magnificent landscapes and great biodiversity in the nature.

My photographic focus is nature, - especially the birds of the island of Cyprus.

The location of the island in the Eastern Mediterranean and the year-round warm climate BirdLife of Cyprus is extended by many migratory birds during the period from October to may in a great way.

Here, the island is used by the migratory birds for tours of Europe after North Africa and back as a rest area for stopovers. Many birds remain to wintering on the island. Also as the "Cyprus Wheatear" or the "Cyprus Warbler" who live only on Cyprus are interesting.

I would like to point out that all recordings without changing to the PC and respect of nature and the pictured animals were recorded. As a nature and wildlife photographer I am an active member of the international bird conservation organisation „BirdLife Cyprus“, I support the bird protection actions and photo contributions for publications on the Internet and magazines of the organization.
