Inwischen sind die Maulbeerbäume und ihre Früchte für Vögel wie den Pirol als Futterstelle bereit ud werden auch gut besucht.
Die Blauracken sind gerade bei der Brautwerbung, wenn auch nicht in großer Zahl. Dafür sind aber sehr viele Häher Kuckuck unterwegs, auch normale Kuckucks sind da.
Leider sind viele natürlichen Bruthöhlen der Wiedehopfe, der Steinkauze und auch der Blauracken leer. Speziel im Androlikou Gebiet werden die aufgehängten Holzkisten Ersatz - Bruthöhlen im Akamas einzigartigem Nature 2000 Schutzgebiet nicht sonderlich angenommen.

The European rollers are currently courting, although not in large numbers. However, there are many jays and cuckoos around, and common cuckoos are also present. Unfortunately, many natural
nesting holes of the hoopoes, little owls, and even the European roller are empty. Especially in the Androlikou area, the suspended wooden boxes used as replacement nesting holes in Akamas'
unique Nature 2000 protected area are not particularly
popular.
